Third Episode of MUJERES ASESINAS “La Insome” Premieres Friday, November 18 Exclusively on ViX+
MIAMI – NOVEMBER 18, 2022 –Yalitza Aparicio (Rocio), nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in 2019, is starring in the third episode of the psychological drama MUJERES ASESINAS (Killer Women) premiering exclusively on ViX+ this Friday, November 18.
The second episode in the reimagined anthology tells the story of Rocio, a young student with big dreams of becoming a teacher. Unfortunately, a fire in her home kills her family and Rocio becomes an orphan, with no home, no money, no future, and without willpower to follow her dreams. Gabino, her boyfriend, proposes to continue with his parents’ business and start a family, but Rocio is not able to let go of the accident.
With stories inspired by real life, the protagonists of this series did not have simple, happy lives. After trying to improve their lives and failing, these women reached their limit and found violence as their only solution. The reboot of the award-winning anthology that became one of the most popular series on Mexican television almost 10 years ago, will showcase stories inspired by real events, with new episodes weekly.
