REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 9, 2026 – From all-new adventures and expanded experiences to fan-favorite franchises and surprise announcements, today’s Nintendo Direct showcased a diverse lineup of games and content coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems, offering players plentyto look forward to.

Fans got their first look at brand-new games featuring two iconic Nintendo heroes: Samus Aran in Metroid Ravenous, anintense new 2D action adventure, and Kirby’s journey through the expansive 3D landscapes of Kirby and the World Beyond,both coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2. The presentation also revealed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Definitive Edition and Pikmin4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy, bringing new features to both games; new gameplay footage and information for Nintendo Switch SportsResort and XenobladeChronicles 3 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition; new content for PokémonPokopia Expansion Pass, Mario Kart World and Star Fox; and the additionof Star Fox Adventures to the Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics library later today.

Players can also look forward to new entries from some of gaming’s most beloved franchises, whether at home or on the go. Highlights included a modern reimagining of Lara Croft’s original 1996 adventure in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis;the monster-slaying thrills of MonsterHunter Wilds; the electrifying climax to an epic trilogy with Final Fantasy VII Revelation;the long-awaited Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival; the creative hide-and-seek hilarity of MECCHA CHAMELEON; threesurvival horror classics with ResidentEvil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition;and the return of a Capcom hero and his familiar ally in Mega Man: Dual Override.

• CrisisCore –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion: Follow the story of Shinra SOLDIER operative Zack Fair in this remaster of the action RPG that takes place seven years before the events of FINAL FANTASY VII. • Danganronpa 2×2: A new murderous game begins in this latest entry in the Danganronpa series. Featuring a visually enhanced version of the original Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair scenario alongside a brand-new story with the same setting and characters, players will investigate an entirely new set of victims, culprits and tricks. • Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition: Experience three acclaimed survival horror adventures on Nintendo Switch 2! • Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain: The latest entry in the Yo-kai Watch series evolves the adventures of Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits, Fleshy Souls and Psychic Specters with enhanced graphics and new content on Nintendo Switch 2. Join Nate as he befriends a wide variety of Yo-kai and embarks on the mysterious adventures that define the series. Alongwith new story content, players may even encounter some new Yo-kai. • Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCEGX: A new semester begins as Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 3 is reborn with modern visuals, enhanced Dueling and nostalgic cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime era. Featuring content previously unreleased in the Americas, Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX launches for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on Feb. 16, 2027. Pre-orders begin later today on NintendoeShop and include four in-game items for the Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL game. Physical versions include three Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME cards.

• 007 First Light: As a young James Bond, use gadgets, stealth or combat to earn the number in this standalone, re-imagined origin story of the world’s most famous spy. Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.

• THE ASCENT ULTIMATE EDITION: In this action-shooter RPG, equip destructive gadgets and customize your augmentations in a sprawling cyberpunk world solo or with friends locally using GameShare8 and stay connected via GameChat. Includes the basegame and all DLC. Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in December with additional Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.

• The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother:Play as Maomao and investigate incidents, gather clues and solve mysteries in this all-new story with new characters by The Apothecary Diaries creator Hyūganatsu, based on an original concept from the series. • The Crew Motorfest: Explore the Hawaiian archipelago behind the wheel of over 800 vehicles, from classic cars and motorcycles to boats and planes. Compete in races, dive into themed campaigns and more. Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 8.

• DRAGONQUEST HEROES: Torneko’s Mystery Dungeon -Classic HD-: Originally released only in Japan, the first Mystery Dungeon game returns for a new generation of players with updated HD graphics, a new opening movie and adjustabledifficulty settings. The dungeon changes every time you enter, so each run is unique. Available on Nintendo Switch 2 and NintendoSwitch later today!

• DRAGONQUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World: Put your monster mastery to the test in this brand-new demo available later today! Experience Bianca and Nera’s story up to the completion of the Witherwood region as you scout, trainand battle. The full game comes to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on Dec. 3.

• Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream: Follow Hanna’s search for her missing brother in this isometric narrative-driven stealth adventure set in the grit of an early 1900s Nordic city. Coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 system on Dec. 3, the game offers newways to play with touch screen and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.

• Fading Echo: Play as One, a young Legend with the power of Æther, in this elemental action-adventure RPG. Shift between human and water blob forms to explore, solve puzzles and battle enemies across a fractured multiverse where ancient forces awake and realitiescollide as a mysterious entity called the Paradox makes a mess of things. • House Flipper 2: Clean, renovate, decorate and build homes from the ground up in this relaxing renovation simulator. Ciudad de México, 4 de septiembre de 2026 —  En respuesta al interés generado por el tráiler de presentación de HUMANKIND™ 2, Amplitude Studios lanzó un video detrás de cámaras, ofreciendo a los jugadores y a los medios de comunicación una mirada más cercana a la producción en live-action, la artesanía práctica y los efectos visuales que ayudaron a dar vida a la visión del tráiler.

Experimentando la historia por primera vez

En lugar de observar las civilizaciones desde el exterior, el tráiler sitúa a los espectadores directamente en los ojos de un recién nacido. A lo largo de nueve eras distintas, la audiencia es testigo del desarrollo del viaje de la humanidad a través de una serie de primeros alientos, primeras miradas y primeros encuentros.

Rodada en los estudios Nu Boyana Film Studios en Sofía, Bulgaria, la producción combinó cine en live-action, escenarios reales, utilería personalizada, vestuario, efectos visuales y CGI para recrear miles de años de historia en tan solo unos segundos.

Desarrollado con la experiencia de BETC

Para crear el tráiler detrás de cámaras, Amplitude Studios volvió a aliarse con BETC, la agencia creativa detrás de varios tráilers previos de HUMANKIND. La producción se llevó a cabo en múltiples escenarios reales, cada uno diseñado para representar una era diferente, con vestuario, utilería, iluminación e interpretaciones únicas que dieron vida a cada período.

BETC también colaboró con LiveFX, un estudio de CGI y efectos visuales, para resaltar varios momentos clave del tráiler, como el tornado, la explosión nuclear y las secuencias espaciales. Estos elementos se integraron a la perfección con la filmación en live-action durante la posproducción para ayudar a llevar a la pantalla los mundos más ambiciosos del cortometraje.

Ciudad de México – 3 de septiembre de 2026, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI) ha revelado el día de hoy dos nuevos tráilers para Rev. NOiR, un RPG completamente nuevo que se lanzará en 2027 para PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S y Steam®.

El nuevo tráiler enfocado en la historia ofrece una mirada más profunda a Asch y Finé, dos jóvenes héroes unidos por el destino, mientras que su viaje para detener el fenómeno Lightfall (Lluvia de Luz), un fenómeno catastrófico que termina con la vida de todo lo que toca. El segundo tráiler muestra la acción estratégica de combate del juego, donde los estilos de pelea evolucionan de acuerdo a las decisiones y elecciones del jugador.

UN MUNDO AL BORDE DEL ABISMO

Desde tiempos inmemoriales, el Determinante en los cielos ha guiado a la humanidad a través de ordenanzas astrales destinadas a preservar la paz. Festival de las Flores de Cerezo

Después de la actualización programada, llegará el Festival de la Flor de Cerezo a Prontera. Durante el evento los trotamundos de Nivel Base 30 o superior podrán participar en las actividades disponibles por la ciudad. Al explorar la ciudad, los jugadores podrán obtener Ramitas de Flores y utilizarlas en diferentes misiones e intercambios. Durante este evento el disfraz “Sombrero Flor de Cerezo Amarillo” contará con un efecto especial.

Mejoras de jugabilidad

Con la actualización, también llegarán nuevos cambios en el juego para mejorar la experiencia el día día de los trotamundos y actualizar contenidos de Rune-Midgard:

• Aceptar todas las Misiones del Edén de una vez: Al interactuar con los tablones del Grupo del Edén, ahora será posible aceptar todas las misiones disponibles de una sola vez, sin necesidad de seleccionar cada una individualmente.
• Nuevos Ítems para Reforma: Se añadirán nuevos ítems para Reforma en el Laboratorio Regenschirm.
• Eliminación de las Batallas Campales: El contenido de Batallas Campales será eliminado del juego.
• Portal del Abismo Disponible Permanentemente: Con la finalización del Sistema de Inversión de Feudos, los Pisos 1 y 2 de los Calabozos de los Castillos, además del Portal del Abismo, pasarán a estar disponibles de forma permanente.
