Mexico City, May 7, 2024: Malique Lewis will be participating in this year’s NBA G League Elite Camp, aiming to get a spot on an NBA team. Lewis will be one of the 44 prospects who have been invited to the event.
The G League Elite Camp is an event where prospects have the opportunity to showcase their skills, The top performers will earn an invitation to the NBA Combine taking place May 12-19 in Chicago.
At the end of April, Malique Lewis’ early entry into the 2024 NBA Draft was also announced and it will be no later than June 16 when Malique, like the other players, will be able to decide whether to maintain or withdraw his candidacy for the draft.
Malique Lewis participated in the 23-24 NBA G League season with the Mexico City Capitanes where he averaged 27,9 minutes, 9 points, 5,9 rebounds, 1,5
assists, 1,1 steals and 1,2 blocks.
What is NBA G League Elite Camp?
It is a three-day event that gives NBA Draft prospects an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches and front-office executives. The athletes will participate separately in five-on-five games and strength and agility drills.
A select number of players from the draft-eligible group will be invited to participate in the NBA Draft Combine later on in the week based on their performance in the NBA G League Elite Camp.

Ciudad de México, 7 de abril de 2024 – Malique Lewis estará participando en el NBA G League Elite Camp de este año, para continuar su preparación y buscar un espacio en un equipo de la NBA. Lewis formará parte de los 44 jugadores que formarán parte de este evento.
El Elite Camp de la G League es un evento donde los prospectos tienen la oportunidad de mostrar sus habilidades con el fin de conseguir una invitación al NBA Combine que se llevará a cabo del 12 al 19 de mayo en Chicago.
A finales de abril también se anunció la entrada anticipada de Malique Lewis al NBA Draft 2024 y será a más tardar el 16 de junio cuando Malique, al igual que los demás jugadores, podrá decidir si mantiene su candidatura al draft o desea retirarla.

¿Qué es el NBA G League Elite Camp?
Es un evento de tres días que brinda a los prospectos del Draft de la NBA la oportunidad de mostrar sus habilidades frente a los cazatalentos, entrenadores y ejecutivos de la NBA y la NBA G League. Los atletas participarán por separado en juegos de cinco contra cinco y ejercicios de fuerza y agilidad.
Se invita a un número selecto de jugadores del grupo elegible para el draft a participar en el NBA Draft Combine más adelante en la semana en función de su desempeño en el NBA G League Elite Camp.
