MIAMI – FEBRUARY 7, 2023 – ViX+ announced today that its new original film MALCRIADOS will premiere February 15. ViX+ also unveiled the trailer and official key art for the lighthearted comedy.
Directed by Gabriela Sobarzo (“S.O.S. Mamis: la película,” “Cosas de hombres”) and written by Nicolás López (“Dulce familia,” “En las buenas y en las malas”), MALCRIADOS shares a lesson about life and what it means to be a parent. Renowned actors and comedians Consuelo Duval (“La familia P. Luche,” “EnPAREJAdos”) and Ricardo Fastlicht (“La madrastra,” “Tal para cual”) star in the original production. The film also features Renata Notni (“¿Qué culpa tiene el karma?,” “La venganza de las Juanas”), Mauricio Garza (“Parientes a la fuerza,” “Betty en NY”),Cassandra Sánchez Navarro (“Corona de lágrimas,” “El dragón”), Paz Bascuñán (“S.O.S. mamis: la película,” “Demente”), Paly Duval (“Ana,” “¡Qué despadre!”) and Marcial Tagle (“S.O.S. mamis: la película,” “Cosas de hombres”).
MALCIRADOS tells the story of Francisca (Consuelo Daval), who has raised her son Alejandro (Mauricio Garza) while protecting him from absolutely everything, turning him into a spoiled, irresponsible child. Meanwhile, Gonzalo (Ricardo Fastlicht), has also raised his daughter Camila (Renata Notni), keeping her away from any danger and making her an indifferent, capricious girl. Their lives change when they meet, and the situation makes Gonzalo and Francisca question their childrearing methods.
